General Eye Care

Reingold Eye Center in Los Angeles offers a wide range of ophthalmology services from simple eye exams to state-of-the-art treatments for eye diseases and correcting vision problems. We perform evaluations to screen for a variety of ocular conditions, from cataracts and glaucoma to diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment. Our excellent staff gives you the best service and a highly experienced ophthalmologist or eye doctor at our center can diagnose and treat most eye conditions to help improve your vision.

What is a Comprehensive Eye Exam?

A comprehensive eye exam consists of a number of diagnostic exams to fully evaluate your vision and the health of your eyes. During your visit, one of our skilled ophthalmologists will assess your vision and the internal and external condition of your eye. Your vision will also be tested for any refractive errors that affect your ability to focus or to consider changes in your existing prescription. If an eye condition is found, we will thoroughly discuss your treatment options and help you decide on the best solution. Even if you are free of eye problems, you should have a routine exam every one to two years, especially if you are over forty because of the effects of aging.
