Herbert D. Goldman, M.D.
Growing up in Southern California, Dr. Herbert D. Goldman was a patient of Reingold Eye Center founder Dr. Herbert Reingold. Today, Dr. Goldman serves as the director of Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Reingold Eye Center.
After graduating magnum cum laude from Harvard University he returned to California where he attended the University of California School of Medicine at Irvine. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Goldman did a one-year internship at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena where he specialized in Internal Medicine with rotations in Pediatrics and Neurology. His specialized training in Ophthalmology was completed at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. He then furthered his studies with a prestigious one-year fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at one of the nation's leading pediatric eye centers, Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Goldman is a board certified ophthalmologist, a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is on the staff of numerous local hospitals including Sherman Oaks Community Hospital and Encino-Tarzana Medical Center.
